"Oh, I dunno. We could find something, I'm sure." He says, leaning carefully over the edge of the couch for the pack of cigarettes on the table. He lays back on the couch and lights one, pocketing the pack and lighter both, considering something for a moment.
"You always have ideas," Kenny murmurs, fingers drawing a light circle on his ankle as he watched him grabbing for the cigarettes. He doesn't much like the smell of them but it's one thing that he ignores because he likes Toby more than he doesn't like the smell of smoke.
"What? No, of course not."
He's never even really thought of going to a club.
"Usually," He nods once, blowing the smoke in a direction away from Kenny because he knows he hates the smoke. He doesn't complain about it, though, which is nice. But then, that's probably one of the most apt words to describe the younger boy, isn't it?
Toby snickers at the nearly shocked sound in that response. Like he'd asked something truly outlandish--like if he had ever considered streaking through the city during a parade. "Why not?"
"Well, I'm not really old enough," Kenny replied as if it was the thing that made the most sense in the world and underage people didn't get into them all the time. "That could get us both into a lot of trouble," he added. Toby clearly didn't mind trouble nearly as much but it's probably good that one of them had a radar about things that might be a little too high risk.
"So? That has never stopped people from getting in anyway." He shrugs a bit. He definitely has a penchant for trouble and Kenny's moral compass is probably good for him.
But he's not letting this stop him.
Toby grabs the ashtray and stubs out his cigarette before shifting to sit straddled across Kenny's lap, his forehead pressed against Kenny's. "We should go tonight. It'll be fun and I promise you won't get in trouble."
"Really?" Kenny asked. It's not like he had never heard of people with fake IDs but people that he knew didn't have fake IDs and do stuff like that, aside from maybe Toby apparently.
Kenny's eyes widened when the other straddled his lap, only briefly startled. He's gotten more used tot his sort of thing in his friendship with Toby. "You promise? Not any trouble at all?" he asked, a smile pulling easily at his lips and he can't clearly look at him when their faces are this close but he's okay with that.
"How?" Kenny questioned him because he's still not completely buying that there wasn't much of a risk of getting caught. He supposes that Toby's probably right. There's not a lot of ideas that they get into because of him that Kenny doesn't end up liking.
Like the other in his lap, close to him in a closeness that the teen savored.
He chuckles softly, not minding the questioning because it’s sort of just Kenny’s nature. He’s curious--and cautious to boot. Toby’s used to it by now. “I know the guy that runs the club we’re going to, he won’t say anything.” That wasn’t…exactly true, but they didn’t tend to check IDs if you came in the back door of the club, so it really wouldn’t be an issue either way.
“You trust me, right?” He asks, a teasing lilt to his voice, signaling he doesn’t actually thinking Kenny doesn’t trust him. Even if Toby has told him in the past he should find someone else, someone better.
Kenny looks doubtful for a moment but he really doesn't know much about how clubs work so he just has to trust Toby which when it comes down to it he does. So, at the question he nods, a smile spreading across his face easily again.
"Of course I do," Kenny assures needlessly, leaning to nuzzle his cheek with his own just because he could.
"Good," he mumbles, turning his head just a little so he can catch Kenny's lips against his own briefly. One day, he's pretty sure this one will get away from him because somehow, he'll fuck it up, so he enjoys the little things, the sweet things, while he's still his.
Later that night, they arrive at the club and, just as Toby had promised they got in without any trouble. This being the younger boy's first time at a club, Toby's watching him curiously. "What do you wanna do first?" He asks, leaning close to Kenny's ear so he can hear him over the music.

He nods, "Promise." He assures him with a grin. "You'll love it." Or never want to go to another club as long as he lives. One of those.
